Jotun Marathon
Jotun Marathon is a two-component polyamine cured epoxy coating, that is high solids, high build and glass flake reinforced. It is scratch and abrasion resistant and suitable for environments with very high corrosivity.
Who’s Jotun Marathon for
Jotun Marathon can be used as a primer, mid coat, finish coat, or as single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. It is suitable for properly prepared carbon steel and concrete substrate. In the marine industry it is specially suited in areas where high scratch resistance is required and it can be used as a protective coating for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel. It is also compatible with cathodic protection systems.
Jotun Marathon can be applied by airless spray, or a brush is recommended for stripe coating and small areas however using this method care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
