Description
Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant Aerosols
Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant Aerosols are based on a silicone-modified alkyd resin which is based on lead chromate-free pigments and provides heat resistance up to 750°C (1380°F) dry heat (short-term peak resistance) in sheltered or interior environments.
Where to use Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant Aerosols
Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant Aerosols are for use on bare metal or slightly rusted surfaces where there are continuous temperatures up to 650°C or peak temperatures up to 750°C. They are ideal for engines, heat cannons, pipes, vents, etc.
How to use Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant Aerosols
Surface Preparation: Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust and all other surface contaminants by appropriate means. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. The surface must be clean and dry during application.
Application: For optimum results, the relative humidity shall be below 85% and the temperature of the can above 0°C.
